Understanding Your Rights

In these modules we use the word “parents” which can mean any caregivers important in your life. You may have grandparents, foster parents, or other caregivers that help you in your life.

You have rights in health care.

There are laws that protect your rights.

It is important to know what you can expect from health care workers and health care buildings.

As a human being, you have the right to quality health care.
