Sexual Harassment


Harassment can include sexual harassment. This means that someone is being treated unfairly or in a way that makes them feel bad because of their sex or gender identity.

 

Here are some things people do that might be sexual harassment at work.

  • Talking about sexual things with you
  • Talking about having sex with you or someone else
  • Asking you or someone else to do sexual things
  • Talking about your body parts or someone else’s body parts
  • Staring at your body parts or someone else’s body parts
  • Touching your body parts or someone else’s body parts
  • Making a joke about you or someone else because of your sex (gender/ identity)
  • Saying something negative about you or someone because of your sex (gender/ identity)
