Human Trafficking

Human Trafficking is a very serious kind of abuse. Human trafficking is when one person makes money by controlling another person and making them do something they don’t want to do.

There are two types of human trafficking:

  1. Labor Trafficking: Being forced to do work, labor, or providing services for very little or no money.
  2. Sex Trafficking: Being forced to do sexual things for money.

In many human trafficking situations, people are kidnapped and taken away from their family and friends. Some people are threatened or violently abused to prevent them from escaping.
