Learning About Adult Health Care

In these modules we use the word “parents” which can mean any caregivers important in your life. You may have grandparents, foster parents, or other caregivers that help you in your life.

You will soon be an adult and take charge of your own health care.

As an adult, you might see different kinds of doctors and specialists now or when you get older.

It is important to know who you see and what they can do for you.

You will also need to be able to explain your disability to others.
