Questions About Care

There are more questions to ask about the care you can get at the doctors’ office:

  • Will you always see the same doctor?
  • Are there other health care workers that may also see you? Sometimes, there is a nurse practitioner or physician assistant who sees patients.
  • What kind of care can you get (well care, sick care, urgent care, shots, or vaccines, etc.)?
  • Are labs and x-rays done in the doctor’s office? If labs and x-rays are not done at the doctor’s office, how far is it/where are the next labs and x-rays that you can go to?
