What Can You Do From Age 14 To 22 To Prepare?

  • Get to know yourself - learn about what you like to do and what you are good at. You can do this by going through Discovery and by getting involved in your community.
  • Get to know about jobs - learn about jobs in your community. Talk to people who have jobs, go and visit different businesses, make time for informational interviews, and try some job tasks.
  • Set Goals
  • Learn about Services - Meet with your county employment first leader, meet with your local Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities Office.
  • Participate in IEP and IPE meetings.
