Illegal Drugs
An illegal drug is a chemical that you are not allowed to have.
Some drugs are illegal because they are dangerous.
Remember that any drug that is legally prescribed to one person is not to be given to, or taken by, anyone other than for the person whose name is on the prescription or label.
Just like with alcohol, people have different reactions:
- They might get very happy, sad, angry, or tired.
- Some people see or hear things that aren’t there.
- Drugs can make people act out in dangerous ways.
