Not Feeling Good About Yourself

Everyone has things about themselves that they wish they could change. We all have days when we feel like we are too short, too tall, too fat, too thin. Sometimes we don’t like our hair or the way a body part is shaped. We have to remember that we are unique and beautiful just as we are!

If we don’t like the way we look, there are things we can do each day to help us look our best:

  • Showering daily
  • Brushing our teeth
  • Wearing clothes that we like
  • Eating a healthy diet
  • Exercising

What if you don’t feel good about yourself?

The first thing to remember is that you are important and there are many wonderful things about you! There are some things we can do each day that help us feel good such as:

  • Being kind to people
  • Being kind to ourselves
  • Behaving responsibly
  • Practicing things we want to do better
  • Doing a good job at work
  • Learning a new skill
  • Ignoring mean comments from other people
