Pimps are people who control prostitutes and force them to have sex with other people. Pimps can be men or women. Prostitutes can be men or women. Pimps don’t respect other people or treat humans fairly.

When people want to meet someone so they can pay for sex, they may ask for a “date” because they don’t want to get in trouble with the police. This can be very confusing because many good people also ask people for dates.
Human trafficking is very common on the internet and people advertise massages and dates, but they really mean sex for money. If you contact these people, you could get in trouble. It is important to be very careful when looking on the internet or in the classified ads in newspapers. Tell your family, friends, or people you trust if you want to meet someone from an ad or the internet.
