Everyday Health Routines


In these modules we use the word “parents” which can mean any caregivers important in your life. You may have grandparents, foster parents, or other caregivers that help you in your life.


There are many tasks you will do every day as an adult. These everyday health routines are important to your health as you get older. These routine tasks will help you get and stay healthy in your adult life. Some examples of everyday tasks are:

  • going grocery shopping to buy your food and other items,
  • cleaning your house and doing your laundry,
  • paying your bills and taking care of your money,
  • and getting your medications from the pharmacy.
