  • Medication Dispensers: Medication dispensers are a little bit more “high tech” than pill organizers. The medication dispensers can be set up for your medications each day. They give out your medication at certain times. Some medication dispensers have alarms or will text you when it is time to take your medication.
  • Apps: There are many apps that can make it easier to take your medication. There are apps that use reminder alarms for taking your medicine. There are also apps that can read prescription information from your medication container for you.
  • Other: You can color code medication bottles. You can also use pictograms (instructions with pictures) for taking your medication step by step.

Always ask the pharmacist or pharmacy technician (someone who helps the pharmacist) if they have tips for you for taking your medication.
